· State Retirement Plan administered through the Teacher Retirement System (TRS)

o Annual benefit of up to 60% of average salary base upon retirement

· Supplemental Retirement Savings Program

o For TRS eligible employees, the school system contributes 3% of annual salary

o Employees are required to contribute .5% of annual salary
